Macadamia oil is a healthful source of unsaturated fats, vitamin E, and antioxidants. Macadamia oil also has a higher smoke point (between 201’C and 234’C) than many other fats and oils, including olive oil. This makes it an excellent choice for sauteing, roasting, and grilling. Macadamia oil has a mild, nutty flavour and is a good choice for baked goods or as an appropriate base for salad dressings and marinades.
